Cleaning
Good oral hygiene is important, not only for looks, but for general health as well. Poor oral hygiene can lead to a variety of dental and medical problems such as gum disease, infection, bad breath and more. Regular check ups and cleanings can prevent these problems.
Each patient’s individual needs are analyzed with unique consideration. We begin by giving you a tour of your mouth with the use of our intra-oral camera. Followeb by x-ray and perform a complete dental exam. Once determine the status of your oral conditions, we proceed with treatment followed with a detail cleaning performed by a Dentist instead of a dental hygienist or an assistant. This distinguishes us from other Dentist in Costa Rica or the US. Then we explain dental brushing/flossing techniques.
Untreated gingivitis can advance to periodontitis. With time, plaque can spread and grow below the gum line. Plaque irritates the gum and the bone that holds the tooth starts to disintegrate, creating tooth mobility and bad breath. As the disease progresses, the pockets deepen and more gum tissue and bone are destroyed. Often, this destructive process has very mild symptoms. Eventually, teeth can become loose and may have to be removed.
Implants
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that its place into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge.
Dental implants are an ideal option for people in good general oral health who have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason.

Dentures
Dentures are removable prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth and which are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. Conventional dentures are removable; however, there are many different denture designs, some which rely on bonding or clipping onto teeth or dental implants.
